The ABB ACS180 is a compact machinery drive primarily designed for OEMs and panel builders who need reliable motor control in tight spaces. It covers typical ratings from 0.25 to 22 kW across single-phase and three-phase supplies, so a single family can serve multiple machine sizes and layouts. The ACS180 includes full vector control for induction and permanent-magnet motors, coated PCBs, optimised airflow and operation up to 50°C (with derating to 60°C), enabling it to maintain reliable performance in even the most challenging environments.
