Miniature Circuit Breakers

Miniature Circuit Breakers

Here at LED Controls we supply a wide range of Manual Circuit Breakers, ensuring that you have the means to effectively protect your equipment, assets and staff from the risks of overloads due to excess current.

We have MCBs available from an array of respected manufacturers, including Chint, ABB and IMO, all of whom are globally renowned for the quality, reliability and performance of their products. Every one of the Manual Circuit Breakers we supply are built to exacting standards, with specific models best suited to residential, commercial or industrial buildings.

These include:

Type B - the most sensitive type of MCB, and ideal for domestic buildings or light commercial applications. It’s designed to trip if current flowing through it hits between three and five times the rated load.

Type C - a more sensitive type of Manual Circuit Breaker best suited to commercial and industrial applications where potential power surges are likely to be higher or more frequent. It’s designed to trip at between three and five times the rated load.

Type D - the least sensitive type of MCB, and best utilised in more intensive commercial or industrial environments, where there is an increased likelihood of more frequent or exceptionally powerful power surges. Type D MCBs will trip only when the current surges to between ten and twenty times the recommended maximum.

The breath of our range ensures that whatever your intended purposes or application, you’ll be able to find a Manual Circuit Breaker that’s perfect for you. If you need any help, don’t hesitate to contact us here at LED Controls, and one of our friendly experts will be only too happy to help.
