Transformers and PSU's

Transformers and PSU's both deal with the conversion of voltage levels in electrical equipment. Transformers use electromagnetic induction to move electrical energy from one circuit to another. PSU's supply internal components of a computer with power and convert mains AC into controlled low-voltage DC power.
