Rittal Electrical Enclosures

The range of enclosure solutions can be supplied in a range of materials including GRP ( fibre glass reinforced non saturated polyester ) cast aluminum, powder coated steel and stainless steel.

Each enclosure’s construction material is normally suited to a specific application. For example, if an enclosure is needed in an area where hygiene and cleanliness is paramount a stainless steel enclosure would be best suited. If an enclosure or junction box is needed to go outside to face the wind and rain a polycarbonate or glass reinforced polyester version would be used to house electronic components for security systems/cameras or electronic gates.

Each Rittal electrical enclosure has its own specific IP rating against water and dust ingress plus an IK impact.

The standard colour of the panels is similar to RAL7035 and many enclosures come with a zinc plated steel back plate or mounting plate as standard to mount the electrical equipment on to.

As well as an easy installation process across the range Rittal offer a wide range of accessories to modify the enclosures to suit the end user’s needs, these include internal panel lighting, a variety of locking systems, different floor standing bases/plinths, cable management options and human/machine interfaces.
