The Wöhner CrossBoard range is a modern, modular busbar system available from LED Controls. Crossboard is designed to make power distribution quicker to install, safer to operate and easier to expand.

CrossBoard 125 A

Crossboard 125A - the smallest variant - is perfect for when your panel does not need to distribute large amounts of power. It offers full touch-safe protection and easy plug-in assembly. Typical uses include smaller control cabinets or panel sections where loads are modest.

CrossBoard 250 A

Crossboard 250 A is the most commonly chosen variant for general industrial control and automation environments, handling currents up to 250 A. Like the 125 A system it is housed in a compact 160 mm height, but it supports a wider range of panel widths and makes efficient use of space. The rear feed option lets you bring the main supply in from the back, leaving the front face free for more outlets and devices.

CrossBoard 800 A

Crossboard 800 A is the high-capacity version for applications with larger power needs, such as bigger motor loads, main distribution sections or larger panels. It builds on the CrossBoard philosophy of safety and modularity, but uses a hybrid rail that supports both plug-in contacting up to 250 A and robust terminal contacting for higher outgoing circuits. The larger panel height and improved short-circuit strength make the 800A range suitable for heavy duty installations.

The 800 A also uses the same CrossBoard components as the smaller systems, so scaling up does not necessarily mean learning a new platform.

How to choose between 125 A, 250 A and 800 A

For smaller panels or applications with modest power requirements, the 125 A variant provides a compact, fully touch-safe solution where space is limited and current demands are low. For most panels up to medium power levels, the 250 A variant offers a good balance of capacity, compact size and flexibility. If your design includes heavy loads, higher short-circuit demands or you anticipate future expansion, the 800 A system gives you that extra margin without leaving the CrossBoard ecosystem.
