Last month, the LED Controls management team packed their bags and hopped over to Denmark for the Danfoss Drives Innovate event. Held over two packed days at Danfoss’s key sites in Gråsten and Nordborg, this wasn’t just a business trip; it was a front-row seat to the future of electrification and innovation.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the folks at Danfoss know how to mix serious tech with serious hospitality. Between the strategy sessions, technology showcases, and partner talks, we also got to enjoy some classic Danish treats (smørrebrød, anyone?) and sample the local beer — because hey, industrial innovation runs best when well lubricated!

But let’s talk about the real reason we were there: the future of drives. Danfoss revealed their powerful new iC7 drive family, showing how they’re leading the way with smarter, more sustainable solutions. We also took part in hands-on site visits, including the impressive Turbocor® showroom, the datacenter with its heat pump system, and the bi-directional heat exchange station.
A personal highlight was walking through the Danfoss DNA Museum. There, we learned about the company’s rich history and clear vision. Since 1933, Danfoss has focused on creating engineering solutions that make a positive impact. Today, their mission is simple: to build a competitive and sustainable world through innovation and teamwork.
Meeting and Greeting
The event wasn’t just about technology — it was about people. We shared insights with partners, exchanged ideas for growth, and had open talks about challenges and opportunities in our industry. That shared sense of purpose - of moving forward together - is what made the trip so valuable.
