Behind the Scenes at EMAS: A Factory Visit to Remember
LED Controls reps Charlotte and Paul recently had the pleasure of visiting the EMAS Factory in Istanbul to celebrate 10 years of EMAS UK - and what an experience it was. From precision engineering to warm hospitality, the trip offered insight, inspiration, and a fair share of Raki!
Precision in Every Detail
The EMAS factory itself is a seamless mix of robotic automation, manual assembly, and rigorous testing stations. This all came together to create an environment where tradition and innovation coexist, and quickly showed what sets EMAS products apart: Everything is built in-house, ensuring not just quality, but consistency across their entire product range.
A Factory Tour to Remember
The testing area stole the show, with IP rating tests, deafening beacons, and even a limit switch that has been mechanically tested over 68 million times. Now that's commitment to durability!
Hospitality at Its Best
Of course, it wasn’t all shop talk and demos! Charlotte and Paul were warmly welcomed by the entire EMAS team and treated to good food and friendly spirits (literally!) from the locals.
EMAS’ family and community-focused culture was a joy to behold: employees share a three-course lunch every day and are bussed to work to save their time and money. That's something to stick in the suggestion box back home for sure!
Takeaways & Thanks
Charlotte and Paul returned with a deep respect for the work that goes into even the most cost-effective EMAS components, and a new level of excitement for some top-secret new products expected in 2026. So watch this space!
