Why Choose the IMO IOS/M08ITX-D1 Thermocouple Input Remote I/O Module?
The IOS/M08ITX-D1 is a high-accuracy Modbus RTU remote I/O module offering 8 thermocouple inputs (types J, K, T, E) with integrated cold-junction compensation. Powered by 20.4–28.8 V DC, it brings precise temperature measurement directly to remote panels, reducing cable runs and central I/O requirements in distributed control systems.
Key Features of the IOS/M08ITX-D1 Module
- 8 Thermocouple Inputs: Supports types J, K, T, E; –100 °C to +1300 °C range, 0.1 °C resolution.
- Modbus RTU Interface: RS-485 half-duplex bus, up to 32 nodes per segment.
- Operating Voltage: 20.4–28.8 V DC nominal panel power.
- Compact Form Factor: 176.6 × 50 × 39 mm; DIN-rail mountable IP20 enclosure.
- Diagnostics: LEDs for power, comms, and per-channel over/under-range alerts.
- Accuracy: ±0.2 °C typical, with cold-junction compensation.
How to Install the IOS/M08ITX-D1 Module
Snap the IOS/M08ITX-D1 onto a 35 mm DIN rail. Wire 20.4–28.8 V DC to the power terminals. Connect your thermocouple leads to the input terminals, taking care to observe polarity. Daisy-chain the RS-485 bus to the Modbus port, set the device address and baud rate via DIP switches, then power up. Verify proper sensor readings and communication by observing the LEDs.
IMO IOS/M08ITX-D1 – 8× Thermocouple Inputs via Modbus RTU
The IOS/M08ITX-D1 expands your Modbus RTU network with reliable thermocouple sensing. Its integrated cold-junction compensation and high-speed 16-bit ADC ensure accurate readings even in harsh industrial environments. LED alerts identify any channel over/under-range conditions instantly.
Designed for factory automation and process control, the module’s rugged housing and surge-protected inputs maintain performance under vibration, EMI, and extreme temperatures.
