Overview
Location: Midlands. Job type: Full time. Salary: Competitive with performance based bonus. Holidays: 24 days plus Bank Holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by developing new business and strengthening relationships with customers.
- Arrange and attend on site and remote meetings with new and existing customers in your region.
- Collaborate with partner manufacturers to target strategic industries and accounts.
- Work closely with the internal sales team to generate leads and opportunities.
- Identify and nurture prospective clients to build a strong pipeline.
- Keep CRM systems up to date with customer activity, leads and follow up actions.
- Complete and maintain up to date training on our product range through manufacturer partners.
Ideal candidate
- Motivated, self starting sales professional with a passion for engineering and engagement.
- Proven experience in an external sales or technical sales role.
- Strong knowledge of motor control gear, variable speed drives and or PLCs is highly desirable.
- Excellent personal organisation and time management.
- Clear communicator able to convey technical and commercial information effectively.
- Track record of meeting targets and growing sales.
- Willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
- Valid driving licence.
